Introduction
With the advancement of China’s urbanization process and the improvement of the living environment, the lighting technology industry has developed rapidly, and technical personnel training and technology marketing have become the core competitiveness of future development. Nowadays indoor and outdoor lighting design has not only satisfied the function of its space, but more attention to the perfect combination of technology, intelligence and light art, to achieve the harmonious unity of architecture and “light”.
In order to implement the national strategy of rejuvenating the country through science and education, according to the “Lighting Designer (Professional Standard)”, cultivate indoor and outdoor lighting’s synthetic design talents, standardize the qualifications of lighting designers, and develop careers for lighting designers in primary, middle and senior lighting designers. In the direction, Shanghai KEEY Group Business School was established in 2015. It is a national vocational qualification training base for lighting designers authorized by the China Lighting Society. The faculty of the business school covers senior experts and scholars in the lighting industry, professors and doctors from Fudan University, Tsinghua University and Tongji University.
